Holiday gift guide from my favourite Romanian Designers
Every year I struggle to buy gifts for my dear ones and I know that I can’t be the only one who is having a hard time. So this year, I finally gathered my thoughts and I came up with this holiday gift guide from my favourite Romanian Designers that I hope you will find helpful for your Christmas shopping.
1. Venus
One of my favourite home accessories is this vase I found scrolling on Instagram – and I hopelessly fell in love with it. In my opinion, there isn’t anyone who wouldn’t love a home deco accessory as pretty and versatile as this vase. Personally, I use it to store my markers and crayons and it looks great with different coloured caps peaking out of its head.. Another cool idea is to personalize it yourself (using the white vase as a canvas) so that it matches your personality.
2. Jewellery from bogdansworkshop
You know I love some great rings and necklaces and here I found a lot of inspiration. I’ve struggled for so long to find a nice workshop where I could buy unique silver accessories and this is my top choice thus far.
3. Wallets from ELAN
I simply love a small and compact wallet that can fit my ID (because we all know that Romanian IDs are a headache to keep safe as they won’t fit into regular wallets) and my cards, as I’ve pretty much ditched cash. Find my favourite wallet design below.

4. Livia Falcaru’s prints
Livia’s a visual artist and her illustration are extremely lovable. So if you’re looking for a unique print tee your search can stop here.
5. ROAN atelier powerful tees
I really think that a sense of humour coupled with a powerful message creates an irresistible combo. I find these embroideries from Roan Atelier extremely catchy & chic. Even if they’re not the right fit for you, I think you’ll at least find them entertaining.
6. POEMI’s cute ceramics
Lately, I’ve stumbled upon pottery and ceramics videos, but until I will find courage to try it myself, this local shop is my inspiration. I bet you would you love to drink your coffee out of this cute mug too.
7. Rockha BUJOs
If you didn’t know this already – I really love Bullet Journals and I think they’re a great way to organize my messy life and bring everything together in a planner. So, I was pretty happy to find this cute brand that makes notebooks & planners for any type of person, either with dotted pages (for bujo maniacs like myself) or with regular lines. I am very excited to try them out as soon as possible! 8. LUX Obscura candles
LUX OBSCURA, Offensive collection: candles not recommended for those lacking humour. These candles come with various funny descriptions that will make anyone smile – or at least chuckle. While candles are a common gift idea for any situation, I think that adding a naughty touch will spice up your surprise.
9. Minor Swing
One of my latest obsessions last summer was the hammock. Every sunny day was spent in the company of my hammock enjoying silence and nature in a park. This could be a great gift for anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors, but also a ray of hope for next summer.
10. Ceramic Sparrow
I already told you about my recent crush on ceramic – so here’s another post, this time around featuring some cute & pretty accessories that I found. May this flying pig be your lucky charm ‘cuz it’s extremely adorable.
11. Porcelain jewelry
Maybe this isn’t suitable for all of us – but isn’t it pretty? This could be an unique accessory that makes any outfit stand out.
